Villa Gamberaia

Villa Gamberaia

In everything I have ever set out to accomplish, my goal has been to explore the world of things which make life more beautiful.  From an early age, I have been motivated by arts that enrich our lives and give pleasure. Always on the lookout for inspiration, I’ve learned we need to only take time to connect with our senses, whether it is designing with flowers to enhance a special occasion, painting a beautiful picture or experimenting with intriguing recipes to share with family and friends.

Discovering the many qualities of olive oil has been an eye opener. There are so many uses for this versatile, fruit based oil. With so many different varieties, learning about this product has been an interesting journey – back to olive oil’s storied past, forward to its place in the health conscience present and its possibilities for our future.

JCT E.N. Olivier_07_2For more than twenty five years I was a floral designer and event planner. After the loss of my husband John to cancer, I was looking for a change. When given an opportunity to spend a magical week in a 17th century villa in the Tuscan hills overlooking Florence, the inspiration for E·N·Olivier was born. Villa Gamberaia is surrounded by ancient olive trees which survived, despite the occupation and near destruction of the property during World War II. (www.villagamberaia.com)

From the beginning of this journey, I discovered that there are significant differences in the quality of olive oil. It became important to seek out the finest examples of this naturally healthy food and to share with clients in an environment that would be both welcoming and interactive. Personal responses to sight, sound, touch, taste, and fragrance are all part of the experience when you enter E·N·Olivier. Including intriguing vinegars, salts, herbs and spices, handmade pastas, olive oil based bath and beauty products and seasonal surprises became a natural extension to the array of oils offered at E·N·Olivier.

My associates and I look forward to helping our clients discover new flavors and creative combinations of our fine products to please any palate. Just like tasting wine, trying our product is the best way to learn what you like. Whether looking for a unique gift or a new addition to your own pantry, a visit to E·N·Olivier can help you on your epicurean journey.
